The Millicent Singers are fast becoming one of the best known and most highly respected choirs in Ireland.
There are few choirs in Ireland that can match the success that The Millicent Singers have enjoyed of late, all of which is under the direction of their musical director Alan Kelly.
Kildare County Council’s Arts Office have also provided key funding to the choir over the past two years, which has allowed the choir to work with leading professionals in developing technique.
Founding conductor Michael Weedle, who was the choir’s first director in 1996 would be immensely proud of the choir today. The group has also expanded from 28 members to 42 in the past few years.
